Alex Iwobi:Unai Emery is behind my improved performances this season

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all ARSENAL NEWS The Nigeria international has struggled for the past 18 months after breaking through into the first-team in fine style under Arsene Wenger. But the 22-year-old seems to be the player who has benefited most from the arrival of Emery, with his performances notably improving since the start of the campaign. And Iwobi - who came off the bench on Saturday to inspire Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Watford - admits that he is now feeling more confident than ever in north London. “I’m more positive and more confident with the ball,” he said. “The boss has basically told me that if something doesn’t work, just keep going and don’t dwell on it. “He’s told me to stop being so critical and to just keep trying no matter what happens, no matter if things don’t go as I want them to. “That’s given me a lot more confidence to try a few more things, like beat a player, to shoot more. I’m always ready to get on the ball a bit more, so I gues

Hazard: I wanted to Leave Chelsea in the summer, but Chelsea are 'Now part of my life'

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all CHELSEA NEWS Time is running out on Eden Hazard’s contract, set to expire June 30, 2020. If he doesn’t sign a new one before January of that year, or in about 15 months, he’ll be free to deal with whatever team he wants — i.e. Real Madrid. It’s unlikely that he would want to leave for any other club. Chelsea have been trying to ink him to a new pact with club-record wages to match for over a year now. He’s playing hard to get, as he should. When Zinedine Zidane was still running Real Madrid, it was taken as a foregone conclusion that Hazard would leave us for him. That’s nothing new of course; it’s been taken as a foregone conclusion that Hazard would leave Chelsea for Real since the very first day he arrived at the club in 2012. He’s never actually pushed for a move (his father has), but this summer, he openly admitted that he was considering the possibility of a new challenge — that’s the nice way of putting the idea of him leaving

Chelsea Vs Liverpool : klopp to make 6 changes, strongest Liverpool XI to face Chelsea

Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all LIVERPOOL NEWS Chelsea host Liverpool in the Premier League this week and the Blues will be looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season with another positive result here. Sarri’s men picked up a morale-boosting 2-1 win at Anfield during the midweek and the Italian will be hoping for more of the same here. Liverpool are a very good team and they are capable of causing a lot of problems for Chelsea. The home side cannot afford to be complacent here. This should be a fierce contest between two teams who have started the season very well and are full of confidence right now. The home side will be without the services of Loftus Cheek and Van Ginkel for this one. Rudiger and Pedro are expected to return. Liverpool are without Origi, Lallana and Chamberlain for this one. Van Dijk is doubtful. Klopp is expected to make 7 changes to the side that started in the midweek. Predicted Chelsea Starting Lineup: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rud

Man City Vs Brighton: 4-3-3 Manchester City XI to face Brighton-Sane starts

Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all MANCHESTER CITY NEWS Manchester City will entertain Brighton & Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday hoping to build on their victories against Cardiff City and Oxford United respectively. The Citizens are in a rich vein of form going forward while they have also kept things solid defensively after their 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Lyon last week. Pep Guardiola would now expect his players to get a routine home win versus the Seagulls as they look to ramp up the pressure on Liverpool and Chelsea, who would face each other this weekend, in a top of the Premier League table clash. Defence Ederson is the only senior shot-stopper at Guardiola’s disposal so it’s a no-brainer that he would start against the Seagulls while the youngster, Arijanet Muric would play second-fiddle to the Brazilian goalie on the City bench. The duo of Aymeric Laporte and Vincent Kompany could lineup in central defence while Kyle Walker should res

Paul Pogba’s agent to discuss his future with United in November following perpetual issue with Mourinho

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS & Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, is set to meet Manchester United officials in November to discuss the midfielder’s future. The player’s relationship with José Mourinho reached an all-time low this week when he was stripped of the vice-captaincy and the pair were involved in a frosty exchange at the training ground on Wednesday. Pogba has been at United since rejoining from Juventus for a then world-record fee of £89m in 2016 and Raiola wants to meet the club to establish whether they would be willing to let his client go in January or next summer. The agent also wants to wait until November to see whether Mourinho is still the manager. United did not contemplate selling Pogba last summer when Barcelona made an offer of £45m plus the players Yerry Mina and André Gomes, while Juventus did not bid because United told them there was no point. However, matters have escalated in recent weeks, with Pogba criti

West Ham Vs Man Utd:Strongest 4-3-3 XI to face West Ham – Rashford starts, Pogba dropped

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all MANCHESTER UNITED NEWS < Manchester United find themselves in a sticky situation. A player vs manager row is protruding through the club at the moment. Stuff like this would have never happened under Sir Alex Ferguson. Jose Mourinho has an extremely tough job on his hands. With that said, I still think he’s the best available option to lead this team forward. Next up, a game against West Ham United, who blitzed Macclesfield 8-0 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night… Anyway, let’s get right into the predicted line-up, in which there are a few key changes – with Paul Pogba dropping to the bench as the self-proclaimed Special One tries to show the dressing room who is in control. David de Gea comes back into the side in goal, with the new customary back two of Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling in front of him. Luke Shaw has been our best player to start the campaign, he’ll play. Antonio Valencia makes up the XI; although I’d love to

Jürgen Klopp: Fabinho is likely to start again against Chelsea on Saturday

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all LIVERPOOL NEWS Jürgen Klopp has hinted that Fabinho could be involved against Chelsea at the weekend after he showed glimpses of being the player that the Reds signed in the summer. Liverpool lost to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday and the defeat at Anfield was the first time we’ve seen Fabinho in action since he joined in the summer for £43million and he might play against the Blues again on Saturday. Klopp has said that the reason the Brazilian hasn’t been involved more this season is that he hasn’t adapted to Liverpool’s playing style and the speed with which the game moves under the German. That said, however, Klopp has hinted that Fabinho could make his third appearance of the season against Chelsea on Saturday after his showing in the League Cup. Following the 2-1 defeat at Anfield, Klopp said: “The formation was good with the new player (Fabinho) and we could add him on to our matchday squad (on Saturday) because he pl

Chelsea Vs Liverpool :Strongest 4-3-3 XI to face Liverpool sarri to make 7 changes

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all CHELSEA NEWS Chelsea will be in confident mood following their Carabao Cup win when they take on Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening. Here is the side I think Maurizio Sarri will select for the game: Goalkeeper: Willy Caballero produced an excellent performance at Anfield in midweek but record summer signing Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to be recalled between the sticks for the Premier League clash on Saturday. Defence: Sarri will make changes to his defence as Gary Cahill should make way while Emerson Palmeiri is also set to drop out despite scoring an important equaliser against Liverpool. Andreas Christensen is a major doubt for the game this weekend after limping off at Anfield on Wednesday night. David Luiz and Marcos Alonso are expected to be recalled after being rested in the League Cup while Antonio Rudiger is likely to recover from a minor knock to return in the middle of defence. Cesar Azpilicueta should once a

Labour Storms Lagos Airport, Shuts Down Agencies To Enforce Strike

Image
The organised labour on Thursday shut down offices of aviation agencies at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos to press home their demands for the implementation of a new National Minimum Wage. However, this action did not affect flight operations at the nation’s busiest airport as airlines and passengers went about their respective businesses without harassment from the unions. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Labour Congress, Trade Union Congress and the United Labour Congress had called for the warning strike over non-implementation of the National Minimum Wage. Their affiliates in the aviation sector, the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, the National Union of Air Transport Employees and the Association of Nigerian Aviation Professionals had shut down the agencies in compliance with the directive. The union members had at the early hours of Thursday barricaded the offices of the Federal Airports Authority of Nige

Ramsey to leave Arsenal – report

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all ARSENAL NEWS Sami Mokbel writes, “Aaron Ramsey is set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season after talks over an extension to his deal collapsed. The Wales star, 27, was ready to commit to fresh terms but, despite having only nine months left on his contract, there is now no deal on the table.” This isn’t the first time that talks have reportedly collapsed. Almost two weeks ago we covered a report claiming the same thing while adding that the contract talks had reportedly been impacted by the ‘media circus surrounding Ivan Gazidis. In that report, The S*n claimed Arsenal were closing in on a new £250,000-a-week deal for the Welshman at the start of September, finally getting him tied down after months of negotiations. However, uncertainty around chief executive Gazidis’ future reportedly ‘undermined the whole process’ At the start of September, it was claimed that talks were moving in the right direction so it seems clear that somebo

Osun rerun:See Live Updates, Results and Situation Report

Today, voters will storm some polling units in Orolu, Ife South, Ife North and Osogbo LGAs of Osun State to determine who will lead the state for another four years. The Independent National Electoral Commission had ordered for a rerun after it declared the last Saturday’s governorship election inconclusive. According to the Returning Officer, Joseph Fuwape, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, polled about 254,698 ahead of Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who garnered 254,345 votes. Afuwape said since the number of cancelled votes, 3,498, exceeded the difference between the two leading parties (353), no winner could be declared, hence his decision to declare the election inconclusive. Today, the political destiny of the state is in the hand of the people of Olode, in Ife South Local Government, Orolu, Alekuwodo in Osogbo, Oyere, in Ife South and others. In a couple of hours, the people of the state will know who will be their governor between a

Jurgen Klopp reacts to Super Sub Eden Hazard wonder goal

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all CHELSEA NEWS Eden Hazard lit up the Carabao Cup Third Round with a pearler of a strike to give Chelsea a 2-1 victory over Liverpool and while Reds manager Jurgen Klopp admitted it was a good goal, he felt that his players could perhaps defended the goal better. Hazard casually nutmegged Roberto Firmino on the right flank, shrugged off a challenge from Naby Keita before megging Alberto Moreno inside the box and firing a powerful shot past Simon Mignolet in the 85th minute. “I would say it’s pretty easy to say that here (in the press conference) because it was Eden Hazard and when he is on a run, he is on a run – but of course we could have defended better,” Klopp responded when asked whether his players could have better defended the winner. The Belgian winger has begun the season in scintillating form and his latest golazo will rank right at the top of his campaign’s highlights without a doubt. “I didn’t see it back so far so I will h

Magnificent Hazard Reveals The Brilliant Conversation He Had With N'Golo Kante On The Bench

Image
Click here to Join the whatsapp group for all CHELSEA NEWS Eden Hazard dedicated his superb solo strike against Liverpool to N'Golo Kante who didn't want to take a penalty. Maurizio Sarri named both Hazard and Kante on the bench for Chelsea's Carabao Cup third-round tie against Liverpool on Wednesday night.   But the Italian boss eventually drafted the pair on with his side looking for a goal. And his substitution was vindicated when Hazard produced a moment of brilliance. He netted a stunning goal to knock Liverpool out of the competition whilst securing his team a spot in the next round. Hazard's heroics was the talk of the game and after scoring a 85th minute winner, he gave a brilliant post-match interview where he revealed his conversation with Kante when they were on the bench. Hazard brilliantly replied: "Kante told me he doesn't want to take a penalty so I had to score."
