Information reaching the desk of Family Writers Press has it that the governor of Ebonyi state chief David Nwaeze Umahi has ordered for immediate arrest and molestation of all the principal officers of Indigenous People of Biafrans (IPOB) in the state. The whistleblower in the state government house who gave this information said that the names of all the principal officers of IPOB and hardcore Biafra activist in Ebonyi state have been shortlisted and submitted to the security operatives and his political thugs to commence the dastardly act.
We therefore use this medium to warn David Nweze Umahi to kindly stay away from IPOB activities because he will regret coming to this world if he cause IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to open his page. It is high time you get to know and mind your business because Biafra restoration is not a child’s play and we will not take it likely with any politician who will be a stumbling block to this just cause. Be warned and steer clear. A stubborn fly follows the corpse to the grave. IPOB means business and will not torelate sabotage to the quest of Biafra restoration. A word is enough for the wise. Killings in Nigeria: UN issues warnings to security agencies

The United Nations on Thursday advised security agencies to act swiftly on early warning signals of attacks on communities in Nigeria. Mrs. Sewuese Torkuma, the Gender Technical Advisor of the world body, gave the advice in Jos, during an advocacy visit to the headquarters of `Operation Rainbow’, a state-owned security outfit charged with tackling violence in Plateau. “The security agencies must be proactive; you cannot wait for the violence to take place before you start chasing the perpetrators. “You must strive to avert the persistent loss of lives, destruction of properties and displacement of women and children,” she said. She urged the security agencies to allow more women to occupy higher positions to enable them play crucial roles in the peace building process. Torkuma said that the visit was to sensitise `Operation Rainbow’ on the UN Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 1325, which seeks to promote gender parity at all levels of decision making. ‘Why Awka Remains The Worst State Capital In Nigeria’ – Andy Uba

Senator Andy Uba has said that Awka, the capital city of Anambra State was the worst state capital in the whole of Nigeria. Uba, a governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) disclosed this in Awka after touring the state ahead of the primary election of the party slated for August 26. In a statement issued by his media aide, Joseph Itazi, Uba after touring the 14 local government said that the state lacked a befitting capital.
