Breaking News:National Assembly have declared the date for passage of 2018 budget




The National Assembly has announced that the 2018 budget will be laid before both chambers on April 19 and subsequently passed on April 24. This was contained in an announcement made by speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, on Wednesday. The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under Mazi Okwudili Ezenachukwu have warned other pro-Biafra groups against taking actions inimical to ‎the Biafra struggle. Herdsmen killings: HURIWA spits fire, threatens Buhari’s Minister over anti-grazing law

Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, (HURIWA) has threatened to drag the Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali to International Criminal Court, ICC, over his comment on Anti-Grazing law. HURIWA said it will drag Dan-Ali to ICC if President Muhammadu Buhari fails to arrest his Minister. Dan-Ali had on Tuesday in a statement, called for the suspension of the implementation of the Anti-Grazing law. He said the suspension will reduce the tension in troubled states across the country. “There is a need for the Nigeria Police and Department of State Services to prosecute all the suspects arrested in the affected states while negotiating safe routes for the herders,” Dan-Ali had said.
